As director of Environment Oregon, Celeste develops and runs campaigns to win real results for Oregon's environment. She has worked on issues ranging from government transparency, global warming, clean water, stopping the overuse of antibiotics on factory farms and more. Celeste's organizing has helped increase transparency on corporate tax subsidies in Oregon, pass a bill to close a major corporate tax loophole in Oregon, convincing McDonald's, Subway and KFC to stop serving meat raised on antibiotics, and staving off attacks on the Clean Water Rule and Clean Power Plan. Celeste lives in Portland, Ore., with her husband, daughter and chocolate lab, where they frequently enjoy the bounty of Oregon's natural beauty.
